Play DVD Movies on DVD rom?

I will be building my first PC next week. I will be using a MSI K7T Pro2A mobo, a 32 MB GEFORCE DDR 256BIT , a soundblaster live X-Gamer, a Toshiba 12X dvd rom and Windows 2000 professional. I want to be able to play DVD movies. Will I need anything special to make this happen? Thanks! 🙂
 
I think your GeForce has hardware DVD playback, so it should already include a software DVD player in it's package...

Video card should come with dvd software but sometimes nice to try other players to see what you like
 
AFAIK, the latest version of Power DVD is version 3, build 11.16.

Are you sure that you have version 3.5?
