Thursday last week I ordered a Gigabyte 4870 512mb graphics card from Play.com

Here.

It cost me £169 with free delivery - a bargain even for the 512mb version, and I received it today, Monday. Nice. Funny how they've upped it to £250 now.

I opened up the packaging, looked at the graphics card box, and it said, and I kid you not, ATI Radeon series HD 4870 1GB GDDR5. I looked at the packing list, it says 1GB. I then proceeded to dance around the room

THEY GAVE ME THE WRONG ITEM  but its BETTER!

Thanks Play.com :D

I recommend them, especially if you are in the UK, since you pay no VAT, and it seems they make mistakes like this.

I ordered a HD from googlegear.com (now called ZipZoomFly.com) and I ended up getting something with 2x the capacity. I didn't peep a word.

Its fully working now. Installed latest version of CCC and it doesnt work though - refused to display 1680x1050. Ended up getting rid of it and simply installing just the display drivers off the disk using Vista. Now works perfectly. V.smooth in 3DMark! Now i'ma test it on Crysis, CnC RA3 and NWN2 :)
