after an hour of playing the VPU message comes out, I realy don't get it tried the new catayst 4.7 driver still no good. I don't know but maybe it's my arctic cooler silencer ver. 3 installed on my 9500 Pro, could the VGA cooler be the problem?

Edit: the radeon 9500 pro is at stock speed

it's an unresolved issue with the drivers. The best drivers for CoD and a R300 card (9500/9700) are the 3.1's.

I had ver 3.10 before 4.6 and it was excellent, I you sure it's the driver problem didn't ATI fix the problem with a patch or somthing 😕

you have the same problem, ok so it is a driver problem. To fix the problem I have to install the old catalyst drivers right?

For me 3.10 is the last stable driver for COD; everything else locks up within one minute of playing.

Yep, I'm getting hardlocks with my 9700pro before I can make the wall in the first level of the SP Demo. I've reported this issue continuously with every driver since BFG10K brought it to my attention last year...frustrating🙁

My 8500 plays through without a hitch.

I just installed catalyst 3.10 and it fixed the problem, but I hope that ATI would release a fix in their next driver.
