High Heat is supposed to be out today and the franchise mode on it sounds the sweetest and deepest allowing you to control your A, AA, AAA farm clubs with promotions/demotions as well as all the goodies and such you'd expect in a nice franchise mode.

Prolly will give it a swing today if it is actually in stores today........... 😀
I always enjoyed MLB on the PS1 but it's a while till release. :disgust:
 
High Heat always had solid gameplay. Just minor nuisances here and there kept it from being "perfect". This year (like every year) promises to fix those bugs. I'll be interested in seeing if they actually do fix them. I might end up getting HH for the PC (since the community is huge and stadium mods, player mods, etc. are everywhere).

I'm also looking at World Series Baseball for XBox. I love the ESPN presentation and the beautiful graphics. Gameplay is also really good but last year's version also had a couple minor bugs that really ruined the game of baseball. This year should be a different story though.

I'm probably going to wait until both HH and WSB is out and read reviews/gamer testimonies for both before deciding. Heck, I may even buy both. 😀
 
I think I'm going to wait until the others come out. MVP looks like it might be pretty fun. It's got some interesting new twists, like total control pitching, throwing meters for fielders, and more. I have generally had fun with Triple Play since I normally just played with my friends. Being more arcade-y than the others, it was the easiest to just pick up and play.

The graphics on World Series look pretty darn nice. IGN has some new videos up today.
 
I hate freakin video game companies and their "ship dates" on all these websites! I always end up at the store asking about the game on that day and it's always come back tomorrow!:disgust: ARGH!!!!! 🙁

Forgot about WSB will add that.

So why don;t you just go the day after and save yourself the frustration you know is coming? If a game ships from the company to the stores on the 20th, it'll be IN STORES the 21st.
