Hi folks, I want to listen audio/movie from my desktop (i5, gtx770) to headphones hs40.

The problem is I have 2 hs40 headset and want audio in both while watching movie.
Is it feasible? I currently use powerdvd(when watching 3d) and sometime vlc(normal). Or any other application is needed.

Thanks

I'm assuming you are plugging into a jack on the computer's case front, although that is not critical. The simplest way is to go to an electronics shop and buy a simple 1-to-2 adapter for stereo headphones. It plugs into the computer's headphone jack and gives you two jacks to plug in your two headphones. It does not do the same for microphone jacks, but I doubt you need that.

Technically this is not quite as good as a proper amplifier with multiple outputs, but I expect the difference will not matter to you.

I don't think Win 7 will want to play nice with 2 USB headphones that are identical, but I might be wrong. Try plugging them both in and right click on the speaker icon and look at the options and see if you can turn them both on at once.

This is correct. Windows will only natively output to a single device at a time unless the program makes special effort to use multiple audio devices. I don't believe that PowerDVD supports multiple audio output devices, but VLC might. You may also be able to use a separate program such as Virtual Audio Cable to clone the output.
