So for the past few years I've used Plaxo to sync my desktop and laptop together. It's been a handy service because it was the only one I could find that would sync not only my contacts, but also my tasks, calendar, notes, etc. However, plaxo has suddenly decided that their Outlook sync is worth $59.95/year and I don't feel like shelling out the cash if there is an alternative out there. Does anyone have any suggestions?
 
Take a look at GoodSync. There is a free version - and if you want the Pro version, it is only $29.95.

That looks like a good program, but ideally I'm looking for something that will sync via the web. Plaxo enabled by computers to sync both ways whenever Outlook was opened or closed. Any ideas?
