Platinum Gamecube Controllers?

Is it possible to buy more Platinum controllers for my Gamecube?

I see the Wavebirds at every store I go to, but I don't see the standard ones.
 
That sucks. I didn't even know they made platinum wavebirds. The regular platinum controller is listed as discontinued at amazon. If I had known that was going to happen, I would have bought a set for my gamecube ages ago.
 
I think the Platinum Wavebirds are new. I just started seeing them in stores recently.

Even Nintendo's site doesn't list them for sale.
 
I think its bad that Nintendo offers the Platinum Gamecube, but they don't sell the extra controllers.

Anyway thanks for the link, I'll keep a eye on eBay.
 
They don't have anywhere on their site where you can email them. I filled out some sort of survey and complained about the lack of regular platinum controllers, but I don't think that will do much good.
 
The controller for sale on eBay is out of the country, so I guess they do sale them somewhere.

I guess I could import one if thats the case.

Hopefully now that Platinum Wavebirds are showing up we'll see some of the controllers.
 
I would try calling them if you can find the number. I'm sure they have extra controllers they could sell 🙂 can't hurt to ask!
 
Lik-sang is the place to go I guess. I got this email from Nintendo:

Thank you for contacting Nintendo,

The platinum controller for Nintendo GameCube is no longer being shipped. At this time, we have no information of these being available in the future.
