Just recently I got myself a nice 17" Trinitron that was slightlyused. When I got it, there was what looked like glue on the screen, like there had been a sticker on it. So, being used to my old glass faced 15" monitor, I took a razor blade and tried scraping it off. Low and behold, whatdyaknow, I've got a nice chunk missing from my monitors screen. I thought there was just a anti-glare coating that I cleaned/scrubbed off with ammonia/soap/and water when I got my monitor. Is the actual tube made out of all anti-glare plastic? In that case is there a way for me to "resurface" my screen int he messed up area, like how you can use that chemical process to resurface a CD's bottom, instead of simply buffing it?
Thanks
