Plastic repair - keychain loop on my car remote

So the keychain loop on my aftermarket car remote is breaking :| I would like to solidly fix that keychain ring section back together so it doesn't have further problems. This is my remote:

Its breaking at each end of the keychain area unfortunately.

I saw something on 3M's website called Duramix which supposedly repairs rigids plastics.

Anyone have any specific suggestions?

That stuffs like steel once it sets.

any of the high power glues - superglue, epoxy, and this JB weld stuff will all work.

Definitely not superglue, as it will only create a bond on the opposing broken surfaces.

If you use the epoxies mentioned, you'll be able to create an additional bond around the broken area as well, sort of encapsulating and protecting the vulnerable damaged area and making it even stronger than the unbroken area.
