Does anyone know where I could find such a thing? I've already Googled for all the terms I can come up with and am still empty handed. I'd like to get some plactic DDR3 blanks to insert into the sockets of one of my PCs to keep out dust. I know I've seen these at Microcenter, but that was back in the DDR2 era. Any help locating such an item would be greatly appreciated.

If you are planning on upgrading the memory in a few decades you could always use the below, otherwise I wouldn't worry about it.

Ram is so cheap, just buy some more to fill in the slots if dust is such an issue to you.

Those covers look really cool. If I had a cool window case that I could show off I'd use those covers for sure.

Are covers even necessary? The computer would have to be 20yrs old for any amount of dust to build up in the ram slots.

You would be surprised. In fact, dust can work its way in, even with RAM slots populated. Especially if there is vibration, like train going by regularly.

yeah, unless you need it for an aesthetic reason, I say you forgo the covers and just pick up a can of air and use it occasionally.
