Plasma TVs are going away...does anybody care?

Currently own 2 plasmas, an older Panasonic and a new Samsung. It's amazing how much misinformation and anecdotal evidence is spread on the subject, but at this point reading I can see those who get it and those who don't. It's a shame that those who don't outnumber and ultimately affect those who do.

Hoping these will last til OLED becomes mainstream. Which is funny because per the shootout test scores, OLED will really only be about equivalent.

Yeah there is still some work to do for OLED. Blue pixel problem, price, picture clarity (problem with LG model), larger sizes, etc.
