can anyone recommend a plasma tv? i am willing to dish out about 1500.

Size matters. Save up a little more and get a 50".

i am only willing to spend about 1500. i can spend more if i need to. i just want a kick ass tv. any specific tvs that people would recommend?

I like Panasonic plasmas. You should be able to find one in your price range.
