plasma or LCD television

I am curious what you think. Plasma or LCD televisions, which is better? Anxious to see your response(s).
Thanks,

From what I've seen, the colors on plasma screens always look a little washed out, and LCD's have their own artifacts. In vid monitors, most manufacturers consider a few dead pixels to be acceptable. I don't.

I'm hoping for better, more reliable flat screen technologies coming along, including micromirror and organic LED screens.

I haven't been to the high end TV stores recently, but the last time I went and compared the LCD flatpanel screens (not the rear projection) had the best pictures (bright, with vivid and very true to life colors). At the time, I don't think they had anything over 30" though, so I went with a 50" DLP (also, the LCD flatpanels were expensive). That new 45" Aquos looks fantastic, but it's still expensive (for me anyway).

See, another one likes DLPs, too.
