What i really want it for is HIGH DEFINITION XBOX 306 GAMING

I will play the 360 a lot like 2-3 hours some days and just dont want the bulb to burnout. How much are replacements?

Whats my best choice

XBOX 306??? lol

for gaming i recommend DLP because of the no chance of burn in.
Generation 6 DLP's usually last for about 6000 hours of watching before the bulb burns out.
Generation 7 LED DLP's can last over 20000 hours... but of course its a 4K tv.

When you say DLP are you talking set-top or projector?

I think he means a rear-projection set.

You need a dark room with very little ambient light to use a front projector. Do a little test yourself by taking a white sheet of paper and setting it where you want your screen to be, and look at it using the same room settings you would normally watch TV in. The shade of grey that white paper appears to be will be the darkest black you will see in your image.

ohh. So dim the lights and look at the paper?

Yea im stuck with what i want because the main reason of getting something will be for gaiming and all 50+ in hd tv's are expensive as hell!

Id even take just a hd monitor as i have a sound system but i want something between 1000-2000 including extended warrenty that will serve me right

Samsung HL-S4666W 46" 720P with game mode (just released 2006 model). Retail is $2,100 so you might be able to get it close to $2K with extended warranty.

720p is fine for xbox360 since 1280x720 works much better than 1920x1080 for keeping a good framerate.

YEa im kind of leaning towards a projector as they are lightweight and dont take up much space but the bulb burning out has me a little worried.

I do however want a huge screen and the prices on projectors seem resonable. Do any do 720p. How about any recommendations with a good price vs perfomance balence

Since having that LCD, I never watch the plasma anymore. I can spot those pixels a mile away. Even PS2 games look fantastic on that thing. On my plasma they look like garbage. Like you're playing it on a TV.
I

how much is this and where can I get it?
