Did you just try to compare Plants vs. Zombies to Battlefield 4? D:

Did you try out, or even look at the game I linked? It is what I said it was, a 3D online shooter that uses the Frostbite 3 gaming engine. But now that you mention it, yeah, it is closer to BF4 than it is to the original PvZ. LOL

Its decent fun, not enough to make me spend 30 bucks, but its pretty wacky. SHooting football dressed zombies as a sunflower, enough said.

Thanks OP, will try it out. I am a big TD fan and loved the previous versions of PvZ. I've seen the game on sale for as little as $20 recently. Does the game have a single player mode? I prefer being able to play both single and multiplayer. If it lacks single player I will probably avoid it.

I doubt there's any campaign for it but I'd bet on it having a single player mode like survival against the AI

I played this some more yesterday. Anyone familiar with BF3 & BF4 knows how Rush Mode works (I forget what PvZ calls it), it is a blast in this game.

I'm pretty damn tempted to buy it.

These timed freebies are nice, but I wouldn't get this game even if it was permanently free.

after trying it , was disappointed that they went with the level up system. Did not care for the fact i had no choice but to play online with others. Not a big deal, but i prefer playing solo for my TD.
I wouldnt say the worst game, but im with the others in saying that i dont think im gonna be buying it anytime soon.

thx for this thread as my kids have been wanting me to buy this. After 4 hours of gametime I find myself pretty addicted to the multiplayer and how you can level & power up each character. For $20 this would be a great buy... $30, I'm still deciding. With no monthly sub fee, this is a great time-waster no doubt. It just might keep me from re-subbing to WoW as I was just going to do it casually anyway.

One thing this game does need though is an autorun toggle.

One thing that frustrated me with BF4 MP was how you would get dead so fast out of nowhere. I guess it adds to the realism, but it sucks for gameplay. At least with this you can see your enemies and it's a lot of fun with quick and close enough respawns.
