Plantronics Pulsar 590a and a computer

I recently got a bluetooth headset called a plantronics 590a. I love the headset except when it comes to connecting it to a computer. I was reading on the specs of the headset that the headset supports a2dp profile, and avrcp profile. Which in my understanding allows me to control say windows media player from my headset. To beable to move from song to song or play and pause and just beable to turn up the volume. Sounds cool but, here is where I am stuck.

Can someone help me, or recomend a usb bluetooth device that works for these 2 profiles. I recently got a kensington, and it does not even support the profiles at all, so that one is out. I also tried a toshiba 2.0 usb bluetooth with +EDR, and when I pluged it in and got it working it says that the unit is not scm-t ( could have spelling wrong ) compatible. Which means it has something to do with copy protection of mp3's where it will not allow you to copy them from device to device. All in all can someone help me out and help me get the right USB Adapter or find a work around for the toshiba bluetooth stack to work with the plantronics pulsar 59a, as they are a great headset if paired with the right usb bluetooth device.
