Plantronics Audio .90 Mic

Sorry if this is the wrong forum

The mic on my Plantronics audio .90 is detected, and runs great in windows, and on Roger Wilco (voice chat). when I enter half life, I can not use the mic. When I run the voice config utility, it says 'Mic Mute not found' or similar. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

I have:
An ABIT IC7 Mobo
An M-audio Revolution 7.1 Sound card
Windows XP Professional
 
I don't know if this will be any help but the only thing that helped me out when my mic didn't work for CS/HL was install the most recent sound drivers. Though I'm sure you have, it's just a suggestion. Otherwise, that's wierd. Maybe try to reinstall HL?
 
I had the same problem at first. My Audio .90 microphone wasn't working on CS neither was it working on MSN. So I ran the Audio Tuning Wizard on MSN and my microphone started working on both MSN and CS. Weird...
