I've purchased one in the past for $20 w/free s&H. They have fairly weak low-end performance, but the high-range is top-notch. They have virtually no distortion excepting when the bass gets really active, like with R&B. Pop and classical sound pretty good with them, but anything heavy will sound either hollow or heavily clipped. They would be excellent for positional audio in games, except they have a crossfeed on them....which leads to a funny story: my parents cat chewed on the cable, and severed the left channel crossfeed to the right earbud, thereby killing the left channel.

But, yeah, they look real nice. The mic is one of the best I've used, albeit as long as you have the microphone volume boosted heavily.
