Planter's Deluxe mix nuts-> Pecans is the most expensive?

I bought Planter's Deluxe mix nuts. it contains no peanuts.

ingridents: cashews, almonds, brazils, hazelnuts, and pecans.

since pecans is listed last, i'm assuming thats the most expensive nut out of the 5?

Yes, pecans are very expensive.

Unless you live where they grow, then they're more reasonable. We had a pecan tree when I was little.

Pecans, cherries, kumquats, boulluses (sp), blueberries, blackberries, watermellons, strawberries, huckleberries, pears, all of those things grew naturally in a 100' radius of our house. :D

I believe cashews are more expensive, considering if you don't pick them when they are ripe, they are poisonous.

It might be that way for taste reasons, not cost. I think there are more people who like cashews and almonds than there are who like hazelnuts and pecans.
