My yard isn't very large so I'd like to grow some fruits/vegetables using garden planters.

Anybody do this? Any tips/advice or useful websites? Particular vegetables that do better in planters than others?

Thx

You can grow columnar fruit trees in pots, as well as dwarf blueberries, strawberries, lingonberries, etc. I've had good success with growing dwarf varieties of cucumbers in hanging baskets (the fruit isn't tiny, the plants just stay small.) As long as you care for them properly, you can grow almost any veggie in a container. Snow peas and radishes are fast to grow. You should be able to get multiple repetitions of them in one season.
