Planning to create an app for iPhone/iPad

Hi guys,

I'm planning to make an app for iPhone and iPad. What all are the things I need to create it? Do I need to register with Apple to supply my app to its app store? What is the procedure?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

$99 a year to sign up and deploy your app to the store.

You'll need to learn Objective-C and Cocoa.

By the way, Can we build iOS apps in Windows itself? We can't afford an Mac system this year.

To the best of my knowledge, no. You need to use XCode to build the app, and that only works in OS X. You can try to turn your PC into a hackintosh.
