does anyone know which place would have the best return policy/exchange policy for dead pixels, DOA, misc etc.

I believe costco has a no dead pixel return policy. I don't know if they carry this lcd though. It would be a place to check out.

don't you mean:

I think "no dead pixel" means if your monitor has 1+ dead pixels when you get it, you can get it replaced.
