I'm planning on upgrading from my K6-3 450. I don't have a lot of cash to spend so I'm going with a Duron setup. I haven't kept up with Duron and Athlon setups so I don't know which boards are good. Here is what I'm looking for:

- Stable!!
- Cheap!!!!!
- ATX style
- No onboard sound/video
- DIMM, no DDR
- If possible, the possibility to upgrading to Thunderbird or other socket-A CPU
- atleast 1 ISA slot
- Overclock-ability not needed

Thanks!

The Pro2A is great but doesnt have an ISA slot. The EPoX EP-8KTA2 has everything you asked for but with onboard sound, which canof course be disabled.

Unless you need the mobo ASAP, wait for the KT133A based mobos. The can overclock the FSB like crazy (I know that you said tha OCing didn't matter). These mobos will allow upgrades to 133fsb cpus in the future. EPOX, SOLTEK, GIGABYTE, MSI all have 133A mobos to be released very soon, as do the big names like ASUS and ABIT.

Check what mobos Onvia.com has. They have free shipping and great prices.

If you don't need AGP, Microbarn sells the Pro2-A for a good price. Note that for some reason their model doesn't have AGP. I definately got screwed by this but oh well. MSI Pro2-A @ Microbarn.com. I had a great experience with them besides this.
