Planning my next water build

Hello all,

I'm so satisfied with my current water build that I want to do another one on a larger scale.

Currently I have a MCP 355/xspx res top a MCR320, ek cpu block and swiftech NB cooler. My question is this possible in one loop or does it really need to be split?

I want one MCR 120 for the NB cooling, one MCR220 for the VGA cooling and one MCR320 for the cpu cooling. I am researching a case to fit it all in internally now but it will help to know if my MCP355 can keep up in a single loop configuration.

You were all paitent at start, and now your letting lose?

First off adding more radiators sometimes doesnt help. The NB can easily be paired up with the cpu or gpu for that matter. It wont need its own radiator.

If you want to evolve, go dual loops on the next build and put the gpu's on its own rad.
 
Ok got it so dual loop is the way now to my next question for my second loop it will be used to cool my 8800gtx video card is it still best to go with the mcp355 pump and xspc restop combo or is something else more advisable? I'm looking to use the swiftech MCW60-R and swiftech ram sink kit for the 8800 gtx also will a mcr220 work or do I need a MCR320? I'd prefer to go with the MCR220 as it fit easier in most cases.

Well I'm not looking to rush just gathering the facts then the slow process of acquiring parts heck I'm still doing case research bummer about the CM Stacker T01 discontinued looked like a very good candidate so the search continues for "the" case I looked at the mountain mods case just too big for my office also pretty expensive.

I Have a Dual loop with the Stacker T01 🙂- it's awesome. For pumps the MCP355 and XSPC res top is still the best combo going round at the moment so that's ideal for the 2nd loop. As for sinks and rads I'd go MCR220 and either the MCW60 or even D-Tek/EK's new GPU waterblocks.
 
nope that pump combo is still hard to beat.

Unless you want to step up to the badboy RD-30. 😛

As for the 220, yes it will work and then some. Martin did some tests on the MCR series, and once again its shown its a performer.

MCR320 should only be needed if you had 2 9800GX2's and you were overclocking.
 
Thanks guys great stuff but now you have me thinking what if I go crossfire? Is it me or has the Stacker T01 been discontinued? I can't seem to find it at a reputable place at all BTW nikhsub1 I used you as a reference to register on xtreme forums 😉 now if I go RD30 that would be the only pump I'd need right? Don't laugh I really like this water stuff 🙂 BTW Martin says he is going to stop testing waters parts 🙁 I saw it on his web site as an announcement
