I know the basics of water-cooling like rads, res, water blocks, pumps, etc. However, I don't have alot of money to waste and I want to do it right the first time. What things do I need to consider? Should I buy an all-in-one kit or should I buy it piece by piece? Does it matter what kind of case I get? I know it has to be large enough, but does it really matter which case I buy? Are fanless Rads+Res+Pump combos a good idea?

Help me out on this guys. I try to up the ante on each new build I do. My last build features custom PSU sleeving which I'm proud of. I want my water-cooled build to be clean nearly perfect.

Help, please.

1. budget for watercooling shouldnt be cheap.

2. if your new, a kit at petrastechshop.com might be a better idea then solution thanks to its manual.

3. petras decient kits start at 219. I would recomend the elite set at 249.99 due to its better parts.

4. The cheapest water solution i would even recomend is corsair nautilus500. But your limited to just cooling CPU, and maybe a Small GPU. ie. something less then a 7950GT, unless u intend to swap the rad out for abetter one. Its what i would call entry lvl.

5. Your case limitation only applies if you arent creative. You can virtually mount a radiator anywhere as long as your tubes can get to places. If you havent read my sticky, now is a good time. I have lots of pictures up there so you'll get an idea of placement.

Good luck!
