Hi folks,

I was wondering if their is a way to tell Windows to shut down without having to install any more soft then WinXP itself ? I was tring to schedule it in the Task Manager the other day but wasn't able to. Maybe didn't search enough.

thx !

you can schedule the "shutdown" command. at a command prompt, type shutdown -? to see the various options. i use shutdown -s -t XXX where XXX is the number of seconds to wait before shutting down.
