PlanetSide - Is it any good?

Ive read plenty of reviews on this game and have seen nothing but good reviews, but id take a gamers opinion over anyone elses. Can you guys give me some feedback on this, im pondering buying this game, but is it worth the monthly fee? Thanks in advance.

yeah its fun... not for me though. doesn't play like counter-strike with the quick gameplay and such.

I don't think any game is worth a monthly fee. Isn't Planetside's fee 14.95 a month?

i picked it up a couple of months after it came out. The good thing is that it comes w/ a free month. the idea is really cool, i often found myself in the middle of battles w/ at least a hundred people, sometimes 150 or 200. however, it gets old fast b/c each base looks the same and the weapons are real boring. i played for the first month and then stopped. I guess you'd like it if you're into leveling up characters b/c it takes a long time to gain serious experience in the game.

damn.... sounds ghetto already. 100-200 people in one battle.. look at my system specs, my video card would take a crap.
