Planet of the Apes.....new movie..

I might be late to the party here, but while surfing through cable channels I saw an advertisement for a new movie...Planet Of The Apes!! As a whim, I typed www.planet of the apes.com....

Now, in this day and age I realize the origionals are looked at as pretty cheesy, but in their time they had a 'cult' following. The makeup used for them was cutting edge and lead to much of what we now view in movies.

The story line was pretty good in the first couple, but as they tried to capatalize on previous successes, the films went rapidly downhill....but...the new film has possiblities...the trailers look pretty good!

Yep, Tim Burton is the director too i believe... and one of the apes is the british guy from Four Rooms. This is gonna be a kickass movie.
