I do not understand your thinking, a plane with 40 people on board is missing, and you are worried about your plane trip?

whats not to understand, the man is concerned about his own safety and how these incidents may increase the chances of something happening to him.

I'd be a little worried too if I had to fly.

two planes out of thousands of flights a day, nothing to be worried about. You should be more worried everytime you get into a car.

Yeah, I didn't think it was that hard to follow...

How does a plane crashing affect the likelihood of a future flight going down? If anything, the odds are better that your flight will arrive trouble free.
I don't understand your thinking, either.

I can see why he is nervous. 3 planes down in 2 days. Ya only 1 was in the U.S, but it isn't out of the ordinary that someone is nervous to fly, especially flying after multiple planes fell out of the sky.

Whether it is selective reporting, or simply coincidence, plane crashes seem to come in spurts. We'll go a year with no major air disasters, then have several in a short period of time.

At least it seems that way.

If everything stays the same, another plane going down makes it less likely for mine to go down.

If something's changed so the percentage of planes going down increases, the chance for mine to go down also increases.

The angle of the dangle is inversely proportional to the heat of the meat.

what would change that percentage? i'd say you have nothing to worry about. there were no commercial flight crashes last year. the few that have happened this year are already uncharacteristic, so if anything, you should have nothing to worry about.

Well, let's keep it a secret for the time being. I'm sure we'll be on opposite sides of another thread soon enough. But, how's it feel to be right for once?? 🙂
