Perhaps. Unfortunately, the hoaxes are real and true.
This week's free edition of This Is True includes an AP/NYT story about a woman who ordered a powdered pastry and started a commotion upon finding powder on it, Northwest airlines refusing to server coffee creamer or sweeteners, but allowing people to bring their own, people causing hoaxes with powder in envelopes, crushed candy at a post office....

Everything.
