Planar Xscreen enables front projection in lit rooms

The only drawback, it's 720P and 1080I only. 🙁

I was hoping on putting a 1080P, or 4k SXRD on there.

If I had that kind of money of course.

The engadget description says it's a screen that works with any projector. So I don't see why you'd be limited to 720P/1080i.

I'm not sure I understand the purpose of the Xscreen Plus, though. It seems to be an Xscreen with a bunch of video inputs that claims to make cables more "manageable." How,exactly, does having video cables on what is effectively your projector screen help with cable management? Does Xscreen Plus consolidate all those inputs into a single DVI/HDMI output that gets sent to the projector?

yeah, that doesn't make any sense

No way it combines to HDMI, the cable management sounds pretty silly

Why not? There are already receivers that do just that.
