Planar PX191 has ghosting while reading forums!

I've had it for a few weeks now, but just hooked it up today. I'm a bit pissed because it makes the text blink when I scroll on a page. Is this normal on LCD screens, or is there a setting I missed? I'm running 1280X1024 @ 75Mhz, on a ATI 9700 using DVI.

75mhz??? you can't use 75mhz while using DVI. Depends on what color setup your using on Anandtech also. The default looks fine on my PX191. Some other webpages that use mixed dark and white lines blink a bit.

You are right, I'm using 60mhz since going to DVI. I use a purple background, with a yellow text, so I guess I'll have to change it.:frown:

With high contrast backgrounds and the right color combinations, the phenomenon you observe is perfectly normal. There is nothing you can do to prevent this due to the physical characteristics of TFT panel technology.
