Planar PX171M Trouble. HELP PLEASE!

i just received my planar lcd monitor from dell last week. i plugged it into my computer using the vga connector (because i do not have a dvi video card). i tried using adobe gamma to adjust the colours, but it does not look anything close to my samsung lcd. does anybody know where i may get the icc profile for this monitor or how they configured theirs? any help is appreciated. thanks in advance.
