CT1774NU - 4 + 1 USB Hub,

PV174 - 2 + 1 USB Hub, Swivel screen (portrait or landscape view)

Those are the only noticeable differences between the two. Yet Dell's store has a big difference in price. Is one visually better than the other?! The numbers and specs are all identical...

BTW, the reason I am posting this is because the day that I was going to order the 17.4" monitor from Dell was the same day that Dell decided to jack the 10% off everything deal so I missed out. 🙁 Now the small business store has 10% off monitors...so here we go again. 🙂

The PV one pivots and i think the border around the screen isn't at large as it is on the CT model.

I have the CT1774NU and I'm very satisfied with it
 
The PV is slightly newer, has a more pleasant bezel, swivels, and has a smaller USB hub. Specs are identical. You can get it for under $600 shipped from dell home (so no tax for most people). That's about it.
