1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.
My new pc will mostly use for playing MMORPG as wow, warhammer. I will do some light office work on it as some database, words ? I won?t do any photoshop or making/editing video on it. I will run dual monitor set up on this build.

2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread .
Price range is around 1000 dollars.

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.
US

4. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc, etc, etc, you get the picture.
No, but I prefer good brand with a history of quality computer parts.

5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.
Keyboard, mouse, 1 hard drive. That is it.

6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads.
Yeah, most of my components are taking from the builder thread. I just want to make sure that I got all the right parts since the last computer I built was 4 years ago and I am a little bit behind on the technology curve.

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
I won?t do any OC on it.

8. WHEN do you plan to build it?
Sometimes in September.

CPU
Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale
Click 169.99
I am either getting this one or E8500, since they are only 20 dollars apart but I am not sure which one yet.

Motherboard:
ASUS P5Q LGA 775
Click 129.99
Or
Gigabyte EP-G45-DS3L LGA 775
Click 99.99
I lean toward the Gigabyte since it is 30 dollars cheaper but if the Asus is better I will go for it. For motherboard, I like hassle-free motherboard that I don?t have to tweak at all.

GPU:
Asus HD 4850 512 MB
Click 152.99
I think 4870 is overkill for my system and the games that I play.

Hard drive:
WD Caviar 640GB
Click 84.99

Memory:
G.SKILL 4GB (2*2GB) DDR2 800
Click 74.99
Or
Mushkin 4GB (2*2GB) DDR2 800
Click 68.99
I will probably go with whichever is cheaper.

PSU:
Corsair 650W
Click 89.99
Or
PC Power & Cooling 610W
Click 79.99
Again, I will go with whichever is cheaper unless one is significant better than other.

I already bought a Antec P182SE case for 110 bucks from the link via Hot Deal. I have Window XP Pro that I bought when I was in college for 20 bucks about 3 years ago. The total come to about 820 bucks sans an LCD monitor. I have an Dells 20 inches LCD from 4 years ago and plan to buy a new LCD to run dual monitors. I will probably buy a DVD drive. My questions are:

Are the parts look good for what I need?
The 4850 should be plenty for dual monitors set up, isn't it? (First timer when it comes to dual monitor set up here)
Will I need a CPU cooler if I am not going to over clock?

I'd spend a few bucks extra and buy this mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16813131299

Why, well, it has crossfire capability's, so if your HD4850 becomes to slow, you just throw in another one for cheap. Usually I wouldn't recommend this, but this is the tiny-est bit of futureproofing you can do, for very little money.

Then I'd buy this PSU, http://www.newegg.com/Product/...E16817139006&Tpk=750tx

It's just a great PSU, just $10 more, and can run 2 videocards, and it will EASILY power any future pc you intend on building.

If you're not convinced, then I'd buy this PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...E16817139001&Tpk=520hx because it's modular, it will be a nice combo with the p182se (have a p182 myself, and I'd love to get a modular PSU)

The HD4850 will run those two monitors just fine, but do you intend on playing 2 wow accounts at the same time? Not sure about performance then.

No cpu cooler needed if you don't overclock. And I'd stick with the e8400, the e8500 is $20 more, which is like 10% or more of the total price, and you only gain like 1/20th of the speed, bad deal if you ask me. Btw, youe e8400 can be set to run at 3.33ghz if you want to, using the stock cooler, for free.

Thanks for respond. I won't do crossfire or SLI in the foreseeable future. I usually upgrade once in a couple years so by that point, I just buy a single card.
I am not going to dual box wow, btw.

How is this PSU:
Antec Earthwatts EA500 500W
click
It goes for 44.99 and will it be enough for my system?

Edit: Nevermind, look like the PSU is from Delta and not from Seasonics anymore.

Also, since I am not going to get crossfire, should I better just go with P43 motherboard?
