The worst film ever has been colorized and will be torn to shreds from the guys at Rifftrax. I already got my tickets, anyone else going?

BTW, if you are an MST3K fan and haven't heard of Rifftrax, do yourself a favor and go to their website. There are sample videos up, and they are just as, if not more funny these days.

The sample videos really don't do these guys justice. They can be pretty funny...

True that, her name is Vampira, and Elvira pretty much stole her look.

That movie was such an abortion. Worth seeing even without the MST3k treatment.

I am a BIG fan of BAD movies and this one is my favorite. i actually have the original black-and-white version and watch it whenever I either need a laugh or need to sleep.

My favorite part (other than the spine-tingling special effects) is the scene where the pilot and his wife are standing on their porch. The pilot is getting ready to leave and his wife is saying goodbye with the worst dialog ever:

"The saucers are up there. And the cemetery's out there. But I'll be locked up in
there. Now off to your wild blue yonders."

Take a guess what Paula, the pilot's wife is talking about here:

"I have to have something to keep me company while you're away. Sometimes in the night when it does get a little lonely, I reach over and touch it. Then it doesn't seem so lonely anymore."

Just got back from the theater, and it was fucking hilarious. I was surprised at how many people were in attendance. We got there just after it started, and we had to find 2 seats in the third row, even though we went with 6 people (all had to sit apart.) Some of the more memorable moments..

The cop that kept pointing his gun at everything and everybody. He used it to adjust his hat, to point at people and places, and every time he pointed they made gun shot noises.

Referring to Tor: "Tor's mother named him after what he did to her during his birth."

The Airline Stewardesses film they showed at the beginning was a riot, as were the short mock films made by lowtax.

Overall it was a great experience and well worth the money. If you went, chime in with your opinions

Edit: The movie went out on us a few times during the beginning. It would go black for a second or two then come back. I'm not quite sure how they were broadcasting it as it was "live".. maybe over the internet? Did anyone else experience that?

The theater I saw this at had a small crowd, about twenty or so... and we all just laughed at asses off... Mike, Bill and Kevin were spot on in their riffs - and the film alone was was making people chuckle... Tor, Kelton, the Quintin Crisp leader of the dreaded "Plan 9."

We had the the video drop out about three times during the short, but no more after that.

The short Airline Stewardesses was quite funny, even if Ft. Worth didn't get the love it should have. The first Lowtax "ad" had everyone laughing, the second one, it wasn't as funny...

I'm a fan of Jonathan Coulton, but he seemed off his game and didn't bring much energy to the proceedings...

"Get out here, this is MY bullshit lecture!!"
"He's turning into the Hulk!"
