I know it has to get old seeing these topics, but just like you when you built your PC, you wanted to make sure you had the best bang for your buck PC.

I have been spending 2 weeks reading/chaning parts around and around and around, trying to find the best parts, for a reasonable price. With the help and suggestions of people from this board and other has helped to narrow things down a little closer. Tonight I played with the items a little more and have came out with this. I am pleased with the price/hardware choices. But of course, I still have the paranoia in my mind, is this really going to be good... So I am asking you, do this look good?

my old system specs are

xp 2000+

radeon 64mb 7500
120gig hard drive.

BTW, I want OC as an option (why I am going with Epox, hear good things)

i would suggest getting seagate hard drive, those are reliable, 5 year MFR warranty, and pretty silent.


other than that, everything seems alright, might want to get an opteron 165 if you like to oc, as those ones will come with a much better stock cooler and they have a higher chance of overclocking higher
