I'm leaving for Cal. on the 9th of November and will be staying there for approx. 2 weeks. I'm a bog techie, so I'll be visiting the intel musium, the tech musium, etc...

Any other suggestions on places I can visit?

Fsck that tech sh!t, check out Sausalito, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel, San Simeon (Hearst Castle) Big Basin (Redwoods) The Wine Country, Yosemite, Salton Sea, Death Valley or better yet the High Desert, San Diego Zoo, Disney Land and the rest of that Happy Sh!t in SoCal!
 
Different answers, depending on which end of Ca you're planning to visit or if you have time to see both north and southern Ca.
 
North Cali-

San Francisco Bay area, the general city is pretty cool for browsing around in- Berkeley Campus, Stanford University, Market Street, Pier39, Union Square, Golden Gate Park, Giradelli Square, etc

SoCal-
San Diego, Santa Monica Pier area, LA- clubs, Hollywood, Disneyland, Knotts, Magic Mountain, Universal Studios, Tijuana, Dana Point

yeah, I've lived in both Northern and Southern California all my life and know the area pretty well.
 
i went to san diego zoo, and was underwhelmed

i thought it was gonna be more of a bio park than a zoo

For the record, I don't like zoos, but understand the need for Research parks (like National Zoo)
