mwave.com has/had the Epox 8kta3 for US$129, there shipping for me was only $8 and some change, so I guess they are pretty honest about shipping charges.

Mine is still in transit.....

My distributor just got them in on Friday and I am picking up my orders of Abit K7TA on Monday. Do you guys want me to pick up extras? Would you be interested? What is your guys price on these?

Shucks patience is virtue - I am prepared to wait until the first mad rush is over - My A7V is working perfectly as it is anyway. If it had come out 3 weeks ago I may have gotten it then - waited too long and now the initial excitement is gone.

Here is a link to the Epox 8KTA3 at mwave goto the bottom of the page. I think you need to buy it in a combo, the price is very reasonable. I just got a 750 T-bird and the board for 238.63 shipped 3 day (no sales tax where I live). Hopefully this chip overclocks nicely.

That's funny VM I do have a P3-450 o/c to 600 on an ASUS P3V4X and its pretty darn fast (my 11 year old has it). Will eventually convert it into a server to replace my P233MMX.

heh, that's cool but converting the 119.00 abit kt7a to canadian dollars = 264.00
+ shipping and their "VAT" = 370.00

what a rip off :p

Yep, things are generally more expensive here :( Plus the shipping would hike it up a fair bit I guess.

Unless you actually live in the UK, you'd be better off waiting a little while longer! :)

Hey Canuks, mayba you could buy from a US supplier, and have it shipped to a board member, who could then take it to Canada and ship it to you. Save the VAT, though shipping might work out the same?

I would do it, but I don't live as close to Canada as I once did...
