placement of a fan?

ok, i just recently placed a 486 fan on my voodoo3 2000 card, and when i had taken it off of the heatsink that it came with(i bought it from radioshack* it was placed to blow down onto the heatsink, and thats how i have it installed. is it ok like this, or would it be better so it sucks air thru it? thanc

There'll be people that'll say to keep it the way it is, and others will say to have it suck.

I'd have it suck from the HS, and blow the heat away, but that's my personal preference.

LOL i had to.

I have mine blowing onto the heatsink. I think as long as you have a air current around it you will be ok.
