He mentioned he was taking a taxi to the undisclosed location. If he paid with credit card it may be possible for Homicide to find out what taxi company took him their and interview the driver for details about his destination.

Actually, funny story. I met my fiancee exactly this way. We were originally planning on meeting at Starbucks during the day, but that didn't happen. We kept talking and she invited me over to watch a movie at like 1AM. The rest is history.. lol

Update:

Body found in downtown Chicago high rise condo , tied to a bed with multiple signs of sexual torture. Victim is white male, late 20s/early 30s, 6' 6", 240 lbs, tattoo in upper right back shoulder. No suspects at present, bed mate is missing. Police are asking neighbors if they saw or heard anything suspicious around the premises.
