I've read some on here say to stay away from Newegg for TV's and such, so what is a good source for buying this kind of stuff?

got my 37" 1080p westy from Newegg...smooth transaction with zero problems...this was about 2 months ago....

No TVs, but good HTPC stuff.

Newegg doesn't let you return a TV with dead pixels unless there are more than 6 on the screen. That's why I would avoid them. I actually prefer big box stores for this. Their prices have come down quite a bit and, using coupons and hot deals, they come close to some online store prices.

Costco.com is good since you can take back to the store if there is an issue for 90 days and you get a 2 year warranty.

I bought this HDTV from Amazon last November and the shopping, shipping, and delivery was flawless. I received a $130 credit from them after the price was reduced too. No hassles.
