Place to put up a free webpage?

Hey guys...so I recently took on a lab job and the PI asked me if I knew anything about putting up a webpage. The department has been dragging their feet about putting one up and so he wants something freestanding he can have up about the lab in the meantime. Anyone know of a good free place that wont give me a terrible address? I'd like for it to be something I could type in easily rather than a long address with slashes a la geocities.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I actually wouldnt have even known to search for hosts/hosting without vivi's tip. Is that a bad sign of whats to come in my webpage making adventure?!

Is it to keep everyone in the lab up to date about lab stuff?

If so you might want to look into a blog or wiki - it would be a lot easier than starting from scratch.

Its more to show other people what we're doing, to post pdfs of published articles, show pictures of our dissections, etc..
