That's a tough one. I'll go with:

Game play
Story
Art design
Sound design

I'd much rather play Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines with its horribly dated beta version of the Source engine, than Dudebro Shooty XXII with StubbleTech realistic beard follicles.

1. Framerate. You can have great of everyhing but if your FPS is 15, it won't matter.

Resolution - Anything below 1080p is bs
Textures - If I want it muddy I'll play a console
Framerate - I need 60 for racing and fighting games, above 30 for everything else

I'm going to be an outlier here and say aliasing and texture shimmering really kill it for me. For me lapses in everything else are forgivable.

Bad aliasing is one of the worst IQ problems a game can have, and it very easily gets to the point of standing out as being bad. It's so recognizably artificial and distracts from otherwise good motion.
