PizzaHut has now become PastaHut?

Why would a company change their name over a single added menu item? I'm calling shens on it. They sent me an email this morning (I get their deals and coupons from them, there's never a reason to pay full price there ), and thats where they "informed" people of the change. But I just don't buy it. My guess it it's still some sort of April Fools.. What do you guys think?

No, this one is serious. My uncle works there. Pizza has an unhealthy reputation so they are using the name pastahut from now on. They will still sell pizza though. It's just marketing.

i went to pizzahut.com yesterday and it already had a "pasta hut" logo. if it's a prank, they pulled the trigger a little early

besides, pizza is only bad for you if you're lazy

Well ever since Boston Chicken became Boston Market they've been on the decline in my opinion. One might wonder what exactly prompted this change, but so long as they don't change how they make their sauce I don't care what they call themselves.

It was there on Sunday too, my wife mentioned their website said they were changing their name soon.

No it is not, it is a marketing gimmick. Also, on Jan 10, Yum Brand applied for the trademark Pasta Hut.

I was wrong in my post above I misread an article. Other companies are using the name Pasta Hut, Pizza Hut is trying to stop them.
