actually, real chicago style doesn't have very much dough at all... first off it's more like a pie crust, secondly it's pretty thin.... but deep so you get a ton of toppings.

i like new york style better too though

I don't care for the city of NY much... I live 30 minutes away and I go there almost every weekend. But you CANNOT beat NYC pizza !!!!!!!!!!!!! Hell, you cannot beat a NYC hotdog.

I like thick crust that is soft. They don't make good pizza at any pizza place that has more than 2 or 3 buildings. Pizza Hut, Dominos, Little Ceasers all make sh!t.

I didn't know just how good NY style pizza was until I went there. Now all other pizza sucks by comparison.

chicago is deep dish basically... originally made with pie crust (hence, pizza pie) but now they just use regular crust at a lot of places. but it's deep. newyork is pretty thin, with a wide crust. chain store is like an in between...

i don't know how else to describe it...

most of the pizza shops where people stop by for a slice are new york style. dominos, pizza hut, etc are chain store. and deep dish is just a style they have at the chain stores, unless you happen to live in chicago or something.

I like New York Style. I had Chicago style at a pretty good pizza place in westwood, and damn, it was too cheesy. I didn't like it at all. There was about a good 3/4" to 1" of cheese on this thing. It was kinda gross, and I like pizza with extra cheese on it.
