I read they were slated for a US debut a few years ago, although I haven't seen any in my travels. The machine can pump out a 10" pizza in like 3 minutes. I think they said it was about $6 each, which is pretty reasonable for a pizza of that size. The vending industry has been doing some pretty neat things with other stuff too, like fresh orange juice:

This is appealing to me because you get a lot more health benefits from stuff that is freshly-made...no preservatives, doesn't sit on a shelf, and thanks to the built-in telemetry systems, stock can be managed on an as-needed basis for expiration & refills. Our vending machines at work recently got a 3G hookup so you can even use your credit card to pay for things if you don't have cash, so they're definitely doing some cool stuff with all of that :thumbsup:
