I eat unhealthy so I felt the need to try this. I love hot dogs, I love pizza. I don't like the sound of them together though, it's just weird. With that said I put together a very non pizza'y pizza. BBQ sauce instead of marinara, bacon, a BBQ sauce drizzle and a salted pretzel crust.

For anyone who doesn't follow unhealthy eating, it's basically a pizza with 25 lil hot dog bites baked in all around the crust. 1st thought, they forgot the BBQ sauce, or they just put next to none. The drizzle's there but the pizza tastes dry, the pretzel crust is pretty good and the hot dogs are uber salty tasting. I wasn't expecting Nathans or Sabretts, but they're a lot better than I would have imagined.

At $11.99 it's a lot of damn food. IMHO it would be fucking epic if they offered chili for a sauce, I mean all beef hot dog chili. I've eaten 4 slices and I'm tapping out, usually I eat about 2/3rd of a large pizza in 1 sitting. I've been known to finish a large by myself in a single sitting. I still have over half of it left, the hot dogs here are definitely adding a lot of calories to it. This is something that was made because it's different, there's really no reason for it to exist other than than. It's not good but it's not bad either, would I eat it again? Maybe, but it won't be any time soon.

My body's use to me eating like this, I will be fine tomorrow. I stopped 4 slices in but am getting hungry again so maybe later tonight I'll go get an El Diablo burger from Carl's

Depending on the wiener, such a thing could be very good. Chilli sounds good, but also Baked Beans might work. Add some fresh onion on top of cheddar, I'd certainly try it.

Op thinks enchilada sauce should have tomatoes. His opinion on food is clearly suspect.

Spoken like a true Caucasian person who doesn't know shit about Mexican food.

It's okay, I forgive you

½ cup oil
4 Tablespoons flour
⅓ to ½ cup chili powder, depending on your taste- mild or medium
2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
3 cups water
½ teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion salt
salt to taste

This is fairly close to how it should be made, yes you do see it made with a bunch of dried chilis that are cooked down into a sauce with chicken broth and other shit, but just because people do it doesn't make it right. I have about 20 places I can get Enchiladas within maybe 7 miles of my house. IIRC, you live on the east coast and can't even find canned sauce at your local supermarkets right? Please speak on something you know about if you're going to talk shit.

we already went over this. you don't know your ass from a hot rock when it comes to mexican food. besides, i lived in san diego most of my life, and where i lived i had a similar number of mexican food restaurants (hole in the wall taco shops, really) within a few miles of me.

So yea, your taste in food sucks.

How could you not work out that just from the description? Could have saved yourself 12 bucks.

Anyhoooo, I need to decide between buying sirloin steak, rib eye or fucking enormous rump steaks (seriously, they look about 12 inches across and an inch and a half thick) for tea.

Edit: Got an 11 ounce sirloin and a 28 ounce rump!

I wanna try that hot dog crust thing so bad... Not sure if it's in Canada since the only ad I saw was on American TV.

I like the plate.

I sort of like plain white plates but they really aren't something I like spending money on.

The carcass looks good too.

It was fucking awesome, my butchers a bloody hero. He knows me so I get a good deal plus he knows what sort of cuts I like.

I have to be honest and say a big plate of meat and nothing else really isnt normally my kind of meal but its fun now and again. And I was testing out my new pan.

We've pretty much went clear Pyrex or Corningware on plates, bowls, prep and storage stuff these days ourselves.

Still have some older colored Corningware that is white that we use too.

Might sound a bit paranoid, but I just do not trust a lot of things that are dyed these days.

I love Pyrex stuff, I can't quite get into the plates though. The glassware lasts forever and it doesn't taint anything you put into it.

I won't buy Chinese dinnerware. Welsh's plate looks Portuguese, but it's hard to tell without seeing it in person.

I have a Libertarian bent, but reading this makes me think that maybe the government should regulate what we eat. You know they want to.

I dont think that it is Portuguese. Its similar and we do have a lot of Portuguese stoneware (the wife lived there for awhile), this is a bit too glossy. I suspect (given the lack of markings) that it is Chinese (or from somewhere else that mass produces cheap shit).

Anyway I shall go drink some of my Fathers day Brandy to counteract the oncoming lead poisoning!

Also I kinda want to cook for you all now. :$
