I don't think this has been posted before. And this is my first so don't rape me.
Staples SKU # 427880

I haven't actually bought this since I have a 19" CTX already, but I thought some of you might want to know about it. The website says $269.98, but I went to the store and they have it listed for $249.98. Surely Staples.com will match their store price.
Pixie may not be the best, but it is 19" for $105 plus a 3 year warranty.
$249.98 + (paper clips) - $50 MIR - $95 in coupon codes
There may be better coupon codes than $95, but I'm not sure. The best I could find was ($20 off $50) * 5. There are a whole bunch of different combinations, and I've edited this too many times trying to figure it out.
I've used 2 coupons before, but I'm not positive about 5 coupons at once. I'm optimistic and say they'll honor it, since they are 5 different numbers.

Five coupons? Even getting two by strikes me as requiring a gun aimed at the CSR's head...

good deal if it works though! rightttttttt

egad, its out of stock in my area, New Hampshire :(

I took the oppurtunitiy to ask the CSR about the Staples policy on using coupon codes. From what the guy said it appears that you can use as many as you want as long as it maintains whatever the minimum requirements are. hmmmm If this is true I can see some major use (abuse?) of our favorite store.

I need to find something good to buy....

it won't work. Staples says you are only allowed to you one dollar off coupon per order.

arrggh.. my long post got lost...

Anyway... avoid Pixie monitors. I have the 995. With three year warranty.

Under 1 year ownership.. been sent back twice.

Paid $40 ship from factory.. died in 7 months.. Ship back to them for $20.. they ship it back to me after 2 weeks. Black screen death again in 2 months.. They pay for shipping and promise me a new one. I got a replacement manufactured in 1998! Another repair job one. And this one is beginning to black out under 3 weeks of use now.

Try their 800 number.. you never get through almost. Night I got through.. 500+ voicemails backed up for help I was told.

And the screen is not as good at all on both I got back. 17 inch same dot pitch is better from an Acer.

Spend the $60 and get a better monitor.

And yes.. one coupon at Staples.. they messed up so badly on the stacking of coupons that they got 'published' in some IT mags.. egg on their faces.

If you try more than 1 dollar-off coupons at staples.com, it will be automatically rejected by the system. Some non-dollar-off coupons can be combined with dollar-off coupon, that's why there are 5 spaces for you to enter coupons.

I'd rather use an etch-a-sketch than a Pixie monitor. The quality is horrendous, period. UGH.

I've talked with a few CSR's at Staples. They will be glad to take all the coupons you want. They don't want to be the one to tell you "NO", they just place the order. However, once the order is taken, it's their policy for order processing to review orders with coupons and validate. They will reject the order later. If you review their policy, your order is taken subject to credit approval -- this includes validation/acceptance of coupons.

So go ahead, use all the coupons you want with the CSR, but don't plan to get your order if you use invalid coupons or more than one coupon with your order.

On the quality.. IF.. If you really need to get this monitor for 19 in.. whether the 950 or 955.. take a close look at the connector.

In my original and replacement, the connector housing ( the pins ) head is somehow not stamped correctly.. so you have be gentle in connecting to your video card.. because if you don't the pins will bend.

Pixie seems to be retrofitting the pins with stronger stuff. Depends on what you get.

Pixie monitors are not the best in terms of picture quality but I have one that came with a system over 4 years ago and it hasent given me any problems at all.

So if they only take one coupon max, the monitor would be $160 + tax. Still not too bad. As for the quality of the picture, I went to the store and saw the monitor. It is fairly decent quality, although I think the refresh rate is only 75 max. I would be happy with its quality for such a cheap price. But I still contend that you can use two coupons. But I'm not sure about more than that.

FYI, staples officially only allows one coupon code in most instances.
And, while the reps may even tell you differant, keep copies/transcripts of everything and be prepared to fight. Reguardless of what you are told, their billing department will go ahead and adjust the balance or make additional charges to your credit card. They have done it to me and friends.

Just spoke with CRS - They said that as long as the "off" dollar amount equals the total, you can use as many cupons as you want - Example: If the monitor is $250, then you can use 5 $20 off $50 cupon (as long as they are different) because the total "off" dollar amount will equal $250 - It seems like all the $20 off $50 cupons are expired - I need a new monitor anyway, so I'll try and post back with results. I was going to use either (91203) $30 off $150 + free S+H or (88093 - may be expired) $40 off $150 + free S+H which would bring it down to either $219.98 or $209.98 - (90690) $25 off $75 to bring it down to either $194.98 or $184.98 - Minus $50 MIR to make it either $144.98 or $134.98 with free shipping and probably tax - If it works, not too bad of a deal

Just placed an order -- Monitor was $269.98 and pricematched down to $249.98 and added pen refill for $1.09 to make it $251.07

Used following cupon codes:
46182 $25 off $100 w/ free s+h
46182 $25 off $75
90690 $25 off $75
$50 MIR

Brings down the total to $126.07 + tax w/ free shipping

Also used code 88092 for free case

Make sure to get the names of the CSR you talk to so that you can challenge them if there are any other charges -- Not bad for a 19" monitor with a free case & free shipping on a monitor

Just placed the order. Mine went through using 3 different $25 off.

249.99 Pricematch
-25 code 46182
-25 code 90690
-25 code 91170
=174.99
*1.0825
=189.43
-50 rebate
=139.43 Shipped

Cool. Called back and checked my status and they said it went through. Even without adding the clips.

Now if only the rebate will work.

No f#^$ing way Staples can be that stupid to let it go after all that's happened in the past. A Staples CSR isn't exactly someone I would trust:|
