Pixel shader 2.0?

I can't seem to find anything on Nvidia's website as to which series supports this.
I need to get a card for someone who wants Nvidia and has a pci express slot and has some software that specifically requires pixel shader 2.0.
Would anyone know if the 7000 or maybe 8000 series supports this? The cheapest name brand card is what I am looking for.
Any info would help.

I believe Pixel Shader 2.0 came out with the Geforce FX (aka Geforce 5 Series)

We are talking about old technology here. Anything above the 5 series (6, 7, 8, 9...) has it.

If you have software that specifically requires PS2.0, then you would be wise to find out if it requires 2.0B, and/or 24-bit formats. If so, then you would be better off investing in an older ATI card like the X800.
